Check out this video from the pro trip we did this year with David Rastovich, Asher Pacey, Ellis Ericson and Bryce Young. These guys blended new school power, old school style elements and a flow somewhere between the eras with perfection. I can't believe we had possibly 4 of the top guys in the world with this approach all on the one trip. The waves were perfect and we surfed by ourselves the whole time (except one arv when I showed them what it's like where everyone else goes..). This is only a small sample as most of the footage the Jazz Cat (James Kinnaird) has saved for his movie coming out Fluid Magic.
This is a blog of the surf and experience of living in the Maldives, surfing everyday. When not surfing were fishing, drinking and generally having the best possible time. Last charter for 2014!
A classic way to end the year with a bunch of funny pricks on board. We snuck in a few waves, caught some epic fish and had a few moments of non comprehension..

Non stop swell
With the last few days of the trip left and having already had a run of non stop swell the boys dug into there last reserves of energy to make the most of a still pretty pumping swell that was in the water.

Another week of waves
With the swell showing no signs of stopping we did an over night mission to another area of the Maldives to surf some different spots. The boys put some solid hours in the sea and were rewarded with some quality waves.

Straight off the plane
This group of guys from Victoria barely had a chance to sleep as they stepped of the flight and straight into a run of pumping waves. With an interesting collection of boards between them they had the chance to test them all out as we scored one of the funnest swells of the season.

Part 3..... Streaky Bay 8... Sydney 5
With the last leg of the trip approaching both sides put in some stella performances to try and take the win. Sydney put in some solid sea time which definitely got them a few points but you had to hand it to the Streaky Bay boys with there dedication to drinking more beers than anyone this season, catching fish like there was no tomorrow and shredding when the waves turned on.
