I just received this from one of the guests. It's not one of our photos but I had to take a second look at it. Apparently this was shot as we pulled up to a break on the 1st day of these guys charter. Once again not a bad start. How's the set out the back!

May 22

The swell has died so we're finishing off the trip with a couple of small ones.
We have the next few days off so we'll be blogging again soon.

Surfed Out.

We continued to surf the right for five days, there was no reason to move as we were the only ones there. It was like ground hog day. Surf, eat, surf, eat, surf, beers, sleep then repeat. As the swell started to die we pulled anchor just in time to see another boat roll in.
(You missed it)

Out of the way.

So we bailed on North Male and put some solid travel time in to get to this right. As we got into sight of this wave you could see it just reeling off down the line. Capi rolled the Nautilus in and everyone bombed off the side. We've had it for the last day and a half to ourselves, funny considering there's ten boats in North Male.

The N1 menu today consisted of fun lefts and rights, with the boys going at it. These guys love to surf and it showed. We're cruising tomorrow with hopes of getting a fun right, out of the way of all the sheep in north Male.

Its the first day of the trip and we're surfing one of our old favs. We scored it this morning by ourselves.
I've got good surfers onboard for this trip so stay tuned.

Tight Lines

We finished off yesterdays session with a few beers and a bit of fishing at the back of the boat, within a hour we landed these..

Lunch is served at the new Liquid Ping Pong table

White baiting Maldivian style!

Chilled Days

I love this boat!
Theres plenty of room, the beers are always cold, the meals are bang on and she spends her days anchored next to the best waves.
The south east swell finally started to fill in today with everyone getting a couple of runners.

A fun left on the other side of the channel..

Of course at the start a couple of our shots were off. But it didn't take the boys long to figure it out.
Maybe a little too well!!

Irresponsible I know, but boredom breeds stupidity..

The Liquid Driving Range

We spend a lot of time in the Maldives, so its fair to say we have a few lay days. The perfect recipe, 1 Seven iron, 1 golf glove, 2m of turf and 30 floating golf balls = one hell of a time.

The swell has dropped off, so we pulled anchor and checked this fun little right. The guests were making the most of it surfing by themselves until the late evening

Today was out of control!

Nothing beats pulling up to a wave like this with a couple of your mates. In the morning it was sheet glass.

Bradley hasn't surfed in 7 years (since he was last here). He didn't miss a beat. He reckons the waters too cold at home..
We woke up to this. 2nd day in and it's pumping. One of the longest waves in the Maldives. We are surfing down past the boat..

Rjey celebrated his 27th Birthday last night, the drinks were flowing and he was in fine form.             Happy birthday mate.

Also it's worth a mention that the boys have been slaying fish. These were caught on a hand line at night, sitting out the back of the boat with a couple of beers.
